What makes it differentWhy it's different
We love what made classic browser space-strategy games addictive — a deep economy, real stakes, alliance warfare. We're rebuilding it without the parts that made it unplayable: getting farmed while you sleep, spreadsheet UI, and servers where joining late means you've already lost.
Five minutes should matter. No idle grinding, no round-the-clock babysitting your empire.
Losses hurt, but a bad night's sleep never wipes out your empire. Vault-protected resources and raid caps keep the game fair.
The social layer isn't bolted on — rally fleets, reinforce allies, and fight for territory together, in real time.
Every season starts everyone on equal footing. No eternal top-1% who joined two years ago and never left.
"Holographic Command": a glowing tactical console, not another painted sci-fi skin.
In your command deck
A first hour that keeps moving, and a game that keeps giving you real choices long after.
Live, seeded battles you can actually influence — choose a formation and doctrine, then play ability cards in real time if you're online when the fight breaks out. Every battle is a replay you can watch again, not a dice roll that happened while you were asleep.
Send a fleet into deep space with no fixed destination. Card-based choices — loot, chart new worlds, or risk an ambush — resolved deterministically, so every run is fair and replayable.
Rally an attack, reinforce a besieged ally, and fight together for territory — building toward the season's climax: a siege on the Nebula Core.
No gacha, no pay-to-instantly-win. Status items — Crown-season cosmetics, leaderboard titles — are earned, never bought.
Tap a target, pick a mission, go. Fuel and cargo calculate themselves — no more four-page dispatch forms.
Designed for real sessions on a real phone, with push and Live Activities so you never miss the moment that matters. iPad, then a Vision Pro Command Deck, follow later.
Building in the open
Nebula Kings is being built right now — server, client, and combat, piece by piece — by a solo developer working with an AI co-pilot. There's no release date yet.
Private testing on TestFlight comes first. Join the waitlist and you'll be first in line for an invite when it opens.
